Nikola Zujic
Born and raised in Serbia. I started doing sports at an early age. At the age of 8, I joined the local handball team. When I turned 15, I signed my first professional contract and I was playing as a professional handball player in Serbia as well as in several countries in Europe, Asia and Africa.
Handball brought me to Finland, where I currently live. Alongside playing I completed personal trainer education and several courses in the field of strength and conditioning. I finished my handball career in 2019 and started working as a strength and conditioning coach. After 2 and a half years working in the biggest tennis club in Finland and with Tennis Association of Finland I decided to open my own tennis fitness facility. At the moment I am personal coach of several WTA and ATP players. Alongside Im in charge for long term development of many promising juniors. Also Im working with tennis professionals and tennis juniors worldwide through my APP for online coaching.
My pro athlete career helped me to understand the importance of developing and maintaining a high fitness level, before and during the season. Improving your physical fitness not only helps with achieving better results - it also upgrades your game, boosts your performance and keeps you injury free, which is of utmost importance to all professional athletes.
I believe that with a systematic approach to training, good planning and smart goal setting every athlete can make a significant progress and move closer to reaching their full potential.
My motto is: Do today what others won’t so tomorrow you can do what others can’t.
